I've got the blues...

or the greens...

Seriously, I have a major problem with lack of glaze color diversity!! I need a color wheel intervention! I think of other glaze shades, I even see that other people use different colors and I like their work, but when it comes time to glaze what do I do? I turn to blue...or green...or blue-green...wait, there's a new color...oh, it's green-blue. Teal, turquoise, aqua, celedon, moss, cobalt, ocean, cerulean...should I go on? Because trust me, I can! On that note, stay tuned in the next couple of weeks for a new turquoise-ish shade and a new green. They're in the test phase right now but I think it will take me a little longer than usual to debut them due to a landslide of "other" work that I'm dealing with.
So on that note, what's more appropriate than giving you a look at this beautiful BLUE necklace by Debbie of Prairie Emporium? She is going to post it in her Etsy shop so go check out all of her pretties!

  2. Hey Mellisa! I have the same problem with the same colors in my bead stash. 80% of my stash is blues & greens. When I hit the beads shops I head straight for those colors everytime, LOL!

  3. I am glaze fixated too. I have a green that I can't stop using. I think everything should be this particular green. Looking forward to seeing the new glaze.
