Knitty Goodness!

My friend Katrina has been in a whirlwind of knitting and crocheting the past week!  I sent her some buttons in a care package to play with and she promptly went to work stitching up a storm to put them to use.  I love the cowls and wraps she's been whipping up!

Not only wearables but also a cute little cell phone cozy!

We're working out our plan for our accessory wardrobes for Tucson, Katrina is going to be my lovely booth assistant so I don't have to man the table alone...I suspect it will make for a much more enjoyable show!  Hopefully it's cool enough there to justify wearing a lovely cowl adorned with some of my buttons!

And just because, here's a picture of the pupper enjoying one of her favorite things...pumpkin guts!

Happy Halloween!

  1. I never learned to sew, knit or crochet, but sometimes wish I had. Your friend makes cute stuff.

I didn't know dogs liked pumpkin guts....

  2. The cowl looks really cosy and your button looks fabulous on it. Perhaps if it is too warm for a cowl at Tuscon you could take the buttons off a cardigan you already have and sew some of your own on :)

    1. Great idea Judith! I might have to do that regardless of whether I can wear a cowl or not! Hmmm, might need to go shopping for a good cardigan though :)

  5. Tucson can have cold even freezing (one year) and hot (too hot) for a Northwesterner.. so bring layers and be prepared for anything in February.
Love the cowl and button. Joan T Look forward to meeting you.. how about dinner with Diane Hawkney? Joan T Off Center Productions

    1. Thanks Joan, yes there are several wardrobe scenarios that we're working :) Hopefully my Canadianess combined with my So Cal transplantation will leave me prepared for either!

Katrina just finished a knockout raspberry throw too! Wish it was something I was able to do.

Absolutely include Diane in our dinner fun! I can't believe I'll finally get to meet some other BOCers!
