Catching up...

I'm not even going to try to make excuses for my lack of blogging...I've been a terribly neglectful poster lately.

First things first, Marcie of La Bella Joya posted her October Blog Partner can check it out here.  She also showed some great bead combinations to coordinate with a selection of my pendants, a great idea if you could use a little inspiration!

Another peek at some customer work...this one by Erika!

I was so excited to receive a package in the mail this week from Ornamentea.  A while back I was the lucky winner of a copy of Heather Power's Jewelry Designs from Nature and some goodies.

Look at all those fun components!  Some Elaine Ray beads, fun metal components, a little sparkly round, leather and waxed linen.

I was particularly excited to receive a copy of the book, as my floral pendant and charm are used in one of the necklace projects and another pendant is pictured as well (that's my Sari Rectangle in Blue Charcoal).

The lack of posting doesn't mean that the kiln has been quiet!

Lots of bracelet cuffs have made it to the website and I have a little stack of pendants that need to be scanned to add to the site that have been sitting on my desk for the past two weeks.

With all of my neglectfulness blogging it's carried over to my visits to other blogs as well so I apologize for not stopping to leave comments and chat...I'm still popping in to read posts (although usually 2-3 days after the fact) but I'm way behind at this point.  The goal for this week is to get the blog partner stuff all organized again and have pieces to send out so we can get a batch blogged before Christmas hits!

I've missed interacting with you all!

  1. I love that the kiln hasn't been quiet though the blog may have been :-). The glaze on that little butterfly perched on the pendant is stunning. Love the mottled purpley-green colours.

  2. Nice to hear from you. There really is no need to apologize. We all get caught up in other things. I think especially at this time of year.

  3. Wow! Lovely, lovely things! I just stopped by your Etsy shop and marked a few Favorites, then visited your website store too. I'll remember that way next time I'm able to place an order!

  4. Lovely pieces and congrats on having your pieces in the book. I wish it was avail on my Nook because I promised hubby if he got me a Nook I wouldn't buy real books :-/
Anyway glad to see the kiln is working hard. :-)

  5. I totally hear you about blogging. But you sure have been busy by looking at all of your pretty new components! My favorite is the circular pendant with the butterfly...

  6. Love all your new things Mellisa! Just placed a small order but hopefully will be back again soon! I want everything!

  7. So yummy!!! Yeah we all fall into that blog hole it's inevitable!

Thanks for stopping by to chat! I love comments and if you have your email enabled in your blogger profile, I would love to be able to keep the conversation going.
