Busy as a Bee

Well, at least that's how it feels lately...not a moment to stop and breathe, relax, enjoy the scenery, the sounds, the smells... I'm hoping another weekend in Sedona will give me that chance to recharge a bit and get back into a routine that is more balanced. I decided to try my zinnia connectors as pendants and loved how they turned out. I have a few in this batch - petal, robin's egg, whiskey, and coffee (below)
Lemon loaf in the oven and bags to pack tonight still so this will be brief but it's been much too long since I've had pictures to share of goodies from the kiln. This floral oval is an example of the variation I can get in the coffee glaze - this one is coffee with extra creamer!I have been working on some new designs, finally getting close to ready for the debut... stay tuned!

  11. Yummy! You are making me hungry with talk of lemon loaf and coffee with creamer! Why not a glaze called lemon loaf that is a light yellow color with undertones of toasty brown goodness!?
Have a great trip to Sedona...although I imagine it would be hard not to!
    Enjoy the day!

  14. I love the square one with the three extra holes!

I got the order in today. Thank you so much for the "gift". I can't wait to get to the bead store and match them up. :)

  15. Erin - mmm lemon loaf glaze... I'll keep that one in mind! I'm usually avoidant of yellow in general, it's not a flattering color on me so I'm not drawn to using glazes in that color palette but I could see a light lemony glaze working beautifully!

  16. In light of all my recent bee-scapades, I will have to get one of your bee pendants! Do they come in black?
