Giveaway Winner!

Quick post to say that the lucky CSN stores giveaway winner is.... Artisan Clay! Congrats and check your email for instructions on how to use your gift code. Let us know what you decide to use it on!

Looks like my fabric goodies won't arrive until Monday so I won't have any sewing end results to show you for at least another week (and the handbag will take much longer than that!).

There are a few new goodies set to show up on the website today if I can get around to prepping the pictures...not much excuse if I don't get it done...the only other items on the agenda today are a quick run and dinner with friends.

I took a little leap this week and contacted a shop that sent out a notice that they have some space opening up Feb 1st. It's been a few days and I've received no response so I'm a little bummed out. When I sent the email I was a bit ambivalent about it but as the week has progressed I've realized how interested I actually was... I suppose there's still a chance they might respond but I think it's more likely that they had other (better for them) options. Now I'm wondering if I should send one follow up message or just let it go as not meant to be...
Any suggestions?

  1. For what it's worth, I think it'd be good to just drop them a follow-up email. You never know, maybe they got tied up with something and couldn't reply. If that comes to nothing, well...at least you tried. Good luck!

    I agree....I don't think it would hurt to follow up with the shop. There are so many things that might explain why you have not heard from them yet. What do you have to lose? :-)

  4. Thanks guys, I did send a quick follow up email this morning...no word yet. Keep your fingers crossed, at this point I'd really just like to know either way. Even a thanks but no thanks response would be better than not hearing back at all!

  5. Yay! Thank you! I am super excited! I spent 2 hours shopping the site the other day.... So many things to choose from!

    I agree about checking back. I take a long time to get back to shops, and I have had shops take a long time to get back to me-- and still ended up working together. Life is busy!
