Hot Kiln in the City...

Ok, takes the cake for stupid blog titles...what can I say... my last post being all serious took too many summer brain cells! Finally got my round beads up on the website:I spent all evening yesterday Photoshopping and ALL day today posting new items to my website. It's such a relief to have them all up! I have 29 new bracelet bars including this one: Seriously, if someone doesn't love it as much as I do and doesn't buy it in the next two days (maybe less), I'm totally keeping it for myself...so there. I'm also loving this black and white design...kind of a pain to make but I love the contrast of the pure porcelain clay with the black underglaze. These are my little rustic freeform hydrangea petals...they're so thin and delicate...I love the potential they have for some dangly earrings!Want to see my crazy artistic baking endeavor? Of course I (and my kitchen) looked like a rainbow threw up on me after finishing decorating them but mmmmmm, they were delicious! I made the icing too thin and it ran all over the place so since I couldn't really control the design like I wanted I decided to go with polka dots!

Next post...a peek at my new packaging idea and maybe the reveal of a new endeavor...

Hubster said "now THAT'S an interesting marketing ploy...threaten to keep the item yourself"! I didn't think it would be so effective Kelley!
