I think my favorite Thanksgiving "tradition" is that point in the afternoon when I look over and see my husband and brother asleep on the couch...Head back, mouths open, and we just sit there and watch to see how long it will last :o) But, it's really just nice to have everyone together - even for just a few hours...
ReplyDeleteNot sure if this is exactly a tradition but my daughter and I love eating the big olives off our fingers.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite Thanksgiving tradition is, oddly enough, leaving the TV off all day. I know a lot of families like to sit around after the meal to watch football, but because mine was never a sports family, we made it a No-TV, must-have-conversations day:) Even now that I'm married to a sports fan, I still keep this rule, too;)
ReplyDeleteOh.My.Gosh. It's gotta be the turkey, HELLO!!??
