I don't know what it is but I find that I always end up with an overload of blue and green glaze shades! Maybe it's because I wear a lot of blue (and variations of blue) myself? Despite all my blues and greens I've had a hard time getting a good result in cobalt- part of the reason is that I have a very heavy hand with glaze and I put it on too thick. Finally though I think I've mastered this glaze and I'm actually getting consistent results.
So my big question is...what colors do you want to see that I don't have right now? I know there are entire color families that I ignore completely (yellow comes to mind- a color I never wear!) but the dilemma is whether or not anyone actually is looking for those shades. I'd love feedback on what you'd like to see!
Beautiful charms, blue is my favorite color.
ReplyDeleteI am someone that gravitates toward greens and blues too.
ReplyDeleteOh that is a lovely blue. I'm a heavy glazer too! I also tend to go for blues and greens, even though I rarely wear them. I do know with buttons, I tend to sell quite a few in the yellow family of colours. I also sell a lot in earthy browns with special glaze effects.
ReplyDeleteCan't go wrong with blue, love that color. I like shades of purple too.
ReplyDeleteI like that blue! I'm definitely blue/green person too. I like mixed glazes, like teal/brown, maybe olive green and brown?
ReplyDeleteI does seem that blues are the most universally popular. I like the idea of two-tone combos as well- I actually picked up some lampwork by the orange bell and have plans to do some coordinating pieces so expect that soon!
ReplyDeleteThose are beautiful; I also like turquoise, lavender and purple - my favorite colors, not sure if other's like them, but I do.
ReplyDeleteLOVE the pattern, reminds me of batik in that blue!
